Many families today don't have a church home — or the one they had doesn't quite fit the person they've lost. That doesn't mean the service has to be impersonal, or read from a script that could belong to anyone.
A certified celebrant sits down with your family, listens to your stories, and builds a ceremony around the person you actually knew. Their humor. Their work. Their music. The things only your family would think to say.

How it works
1) We talk.
A phone call or a visit - usually within a day of your first contact.
2) You tell me about them.
An hour or two, in your home or wherever is comfortable. Bring photos, bring the family, bring the arguments about which story is the true version.
3) I write the ceremony.
You see it before the service. Nothing is a surprise.
4) I lead the service.
You get to be present with your family instead of managing the program.
Losing someone is hard enough. The service shouldn't be.
